Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Health Information Specialist. As a Health Information Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing medical records and information within our healthcare facility. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain patient medical records in both electronic and paper formats
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information
- Retrieve patient records as requested by healthcare providers, insurance companies, or other authorized individuals
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation

-Perform medication, orders and procedures Pre-certifications.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical office procedures
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other health information management software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Note: All positions at our company are paid W2 positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
