What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Mid Oregon Credit Union?
POSITION: Full-time Marketing Coordinator
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Develops and coordinates the production and distribution of Mid Oregon's marketing, sales promotion, and public relations products. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator provides administrative assistance to the VP of Marketing and other members of the Sales, Membership Development, Marketing Team, and Strategic Partners.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Superior writing and editing skills; understanding a variety of programs thoroughly, including Word and Excel; a pleasant, friendly demeanor accompanied by a professional appearance; good communication abilities in working with people on a variety of sometimes confidential issues requiring diplomacy and tact. This person can manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Creativity and self-motivation, along with flexibility and strong organizational skills are a must.
DESIRED SKILLS: You have basic graphics skills with Adobe Creative Suite experience. Experience with various content management platforms for web, blog, and intranet helpful. Knowledge of banking and consumer financial services a plus.
EXPERIENCE: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
EDUCATION: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
SALARY RANGE: Based on experience.

PROPOSED SCHEDULE: Full-time employees are scheduled to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some flexibility is required in order to facilitate Member Education Workshops and other community event coordination. Occasional flex, overtime and evening/weekend work is necessary to accommodate events outside of normal business hours.
