What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Sterile Processing Tech position at Midas Consulting?
- The Shift Leader is responsible for the following: following St. Joseph Hospital’s policies & procedures.
- Daily checking of all appropriate logs for quality assurance; acting as a leader and role model for staff; holding staff accountable for their work.
- Leading staff to properly clean and prepare instruments for sterilization; prioritizing the work and delegating work to other staff members such as transporting soiled instruments from the Operating Room to the appropriate workroom.
- Transporting sterile instruments to the Operating Room; assuring that supplies are ordered in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Works as the point of contact for all sales and service reps; maintains excellent communication with co-workers; maintains competency in Sterile Processing; takes part in educational activities.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
