The New Orleans office of a top ranked law firm seeks litigation attorney with experience. The candidate should preferably have significant experience with motion practice, discovery, fact depositions, and expert discovery; federal experience is preferred, but not required. The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent legal research and writing abilities. Conducting paper discovery, experience with eDiscovery software, or willingness to learn and master such a program is required. Should preferably have a track record of success, ability to handle cases, unilaterally or as an attorney alongside an assigned partner, from inception to trial. In addition, excellent time management skills and organizational habits are critical to prioritizing, and meeting deadlines is required. Must be able to work well both individually and as a team. Administrative skills, such as timekeeping, are a must as well as a basic level of technology skills (case management software, Excel, etc.). The firm offers generous benefits depending upon arrangement with attorney. SKILLS - Litigation - General/Commercial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

  • Bar license (Required)
