Job Summary:
Join our team as a Clinic Manager, where you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations and provide essential support to our clinical staff. Your responsibilities will include ensuring operational efficiency, managing resources effectively, and maintaining high standards of patient care while also contributing to financial objectives. Job Duties:
- Builds strong, positive communication lines between providers and clinical staff to enhance teamwork, ensure operational success, and above all else, deliver top-quality medical care to patients.
- Lead clinical staff management, including recruitment, scheduling, credentialing, and training to uphold top-quality patient care standards.
- Conduct ongoing performance monitoring, coaching, development, and evaluation of clinical staff to ensure adherence to applicable performance standards and continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with Workforce Solutions to ensure personnel policy development and communication to clinical staff to achieve consistency in labor and employee relations.
- Works across departments to ensure accuracy in all areas i.e. nursing, employee health, medical records, quality assurance etc.
- Serve as a role model for all staff. Treat coworkers and patients alike with respect and dignity at all times while adhering to a “firm, but fair” management style. Identify opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and updating training programs as necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring patient service needs are met. Monitors patient service feedback and contributes to the process of resolving complaints and service issues. Educates patients and family members about medical conditions and proper courses of action.
- Proactively identifies, plans, and initiates process improvement and cost reduction opportunities. Play an active role in budget-expense management.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to expand revenue sources and ancillary services.
- Promotes a positive image of Midlands Family Urgent Care both internally and externally at all times.
- Provides ongoing support to Nurse Practitioners to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Ensure patient records are properly maintained
- Manages the health care of patients through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
- Identify root causes of issues and implement dynamic solutions.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Document work processes as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Must hold current and valid nursing license in state of Nebraska
- Must hold current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Must have at least two years of nursing experience in a primary care setting, urgent care, or emergency department.
- Computer literacy and EMR proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Organized and attentive, especially when multitasking under pressure.
- Passionate and committed to providing high-quality, sympathetic care, and service to patients.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain precise organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to promote a positive work environment and lead teams.
Working Conditions:
The work demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee works with infectious disease and/or hazardous materials and may have exposure to noise from laboratory equipment. Employee may participate in rotating weekend, holiday and on call schedules.
Physical Requirements:

The employee is regularly required to sit and stand; occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
