Midstate Radiology Associates is searching for a Site Lead for the New Haven Shoreline area:
Primary Location: Central/Shoreline, CT
Position Type: Full Time Regular
Compensation: A $5,000 Sign On Bonus will be offered to eligible candidates. MRA offers competitive compensation, based on qualifications and experience.
Position Summary:
Under general direction is responsible for managing and coordinating day to day activities of the Outpatient Imaging facility. Ensures the achievement of the organization’s core strategies and operating results by providing leadership to a function (department, discipline, service, or program). Follows established policies and procedures set by the department, state, ACR, TJC, and OSHA.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervises all department personnel issues including assisting in personnel selection, coaching, and evaluating performance.
- Directs work and training for non-clinical office personnel.
- Reviews the assigned facility for compliance with all codes, rules and regulations regarding Imaging instrumentation and machinery.
- Interfaces with physicians, physician liaisons, and employees to promote business development of the facility or facilities.
- Monitors, reviews, and controls the ordering and stocking of office supplies.
- Inspects physical condition of facility and takes appropriate corrective actions.
- Develops and implements procedures to ensure quality control for the facility.
- Ensures safe care to patients adhering to policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
- Meets with customers, partners and team members to assure service levels are maintained (rounding).
- Meets regularly with leadership to keep them informed of any outstanding issues within the facility.
- Leads and delegates Lean Management board and participates in Safety Huddle.
Qualifications Guidelines:
- Must be Registered with American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
- CT state Radiographer license.
- CPR certification.
- Associates or Applied Science Degree in related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Graduate AMA approved radiology program
- Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure.
- Prior experience in managing and developing people and programs.
- Working knowledge applicable to radiological technology.
- Knowledge of quality assurance & customer service principles and practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA principles and practices & TJC standards of practice.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient records.
- Schedule, prioritize, organize, and complete required workload.
- Read, interpret and follow internal quality standards and government regulations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (must be available to work, as needed, outside of regular working hours)
Weekly Hours: 40
