Job summary:
We are looking for a competent and dependable Receptionist to join our team at our busy office. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for both clients and visitors. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming clients and visitors to the office and directing them appropriately.
- Answering incoming calls, transferring them to the relevant department or taking messages when required.
- Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable at all times.
- Receiving and distributing mail, and assisting with outgoing mailings.
- Maintaining the booking system for meeting rooms and ensuring they are well-prepared for use.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Monitoring and ordering office supplies when needed.
- Providing administrative support to other departments as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 or more years’ experience as a Receptionist in a similar role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle a busy switchboard and direct calls appropriately.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and email.
