Midtown Surf Shop is a fun retail store in Carmel-by-the-Sea that attracts both locals and tourists. We pride ourselves on providing a happy environment for all who work and shop in our stores and we're looking for friendly, responsible team members who enjoy providing a great customer experiences.
Duties:
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring store performance
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed
- Conduct sales transactions and handle cash register operations
- Maintain store appearance and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed
- Assist in managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting
Requirements:
- Friendly attitude is the most important trait we look for
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is required
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain store operations
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities
Part-time and Full-time shifts are available
