What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Escort position at Midway Nursing Home?
Job Description
- To escort patients to and from appointments in a safe and timely manner
- Introduce self to patient. Accompany patient on trips to / from scheduled appointments
- Escort patient to and from service areas. Remain with the patient at all times.
- Ensure any documentation / appointment information etc is provided to the facility's nursing supervisors
- inform facility of any changes in resident situation / plan
- must be able to communicate well with the patient to assure a positive experience.
Minimum Qualifications
CNA / HHA certification
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- On call
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- CNA or HHA certification (Preferred)
