Job Overview:
We are seeking a Utility Worker to join our team. As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to maintenance and operation within our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on Fiber Optic systems
- Operate heavy equipment for construction and maintenance tasks
- Welding and other fabrication tasks
- Assist with electrical installations and repairs
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Operate bucket trucks for aerial work
- Handle low voltage systems such as telecommunication equipment
- Maintain telephone lines and equipment

Skills:

Ability to operate skid steers, Mini Excavators, Vibratory Plow or other heavy Equipment as needed
- Comfortable climbing utility poles or towers
- Competence in operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of electrical systems and installations
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members
- Experience operating bucket trucks for aerial work
- Familiarity with low voltage systems like telecommunication equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Payment frequency:

  • Paid biweekly

Physical setting:

  • Construction site
  • Outdoor work

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 50% travel
