Pest Control Technician

Midwest Mosquito LLC is a company that not only sprays for mosquitoes in the summer but also provides treatment for darkling beetles in area turkey barns all year long. We are seeking self-motivated, hardworking and detail-oriented people to join an industry leader as a Pest Control Technician. You’ll need or be willing to get a valid MN State Pesticide License, we will help with this. You’ll be providing customer satisfaction as you work independently from a company vehicle; managing your own route, during the mosquito season and when spraying turkey barns you will be following very specific directions via mobil app. We provide the uniforms and PPE. Must have a valid driver license, clean driving record, must be able to carry 45-60 lbs. backpack sprayer.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently and be able to manage a daily route to completion.
• Customer service skills are a must! Each technician should maximize and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure proper safety protocols are met for equipment and pesticide usage.
• Apply darkling beetle control treatments to area turkey farm barns via a back pack sprayer.
• Seasonal - Apply mosquito and tick control treatments to customer's properties via a backpack sprayer.
• Prepare job reports for customers after each application

Qualifications:

• Must be able to learn and use electronic routing system via mobile device.
• Must be able to lift and carry a 45-60lb backpack sprayer.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally qualified to work in the United States
• Applicants with valid MN pesticide license preferred, but we will help you get your license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
