Wine Shop Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wine Shop Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the smooth running of our shop. The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing a team, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and train a team of employees, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist Tasting Room Associates
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer concerns or inquiries
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving profitability

- Assist with guest check-in/check-out

- Answering phones and responding to emails

- Monitoring daily reservation list
- Assist with special events or banquets as needed

- Working Days: Wednesday to Sunday

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Manager or Shop Supervisor
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
