Accounting Lead

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and be proficient in various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights for decision-making
- Utilize financial concepts to support organizational goals
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and governmental accounting principles
- Apply debits and credits accurately in accounting transactions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation
- Strong understanding of LIHTC, governmental accounting, and financial management principles
- Proficiency in interpreting financial reports and conducting financial analysis
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
- Ability to manage accounts payable processes effectively

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with financial report interpretation
- Knowledge of accounts payable functions
- Ability to perform detailed financial analysis

Pay: $48,576.95 - $58,501.27 per year
