What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at Milkco?
Milkco is seeking an HR Assistant. This position is from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented "people person" with a positive attitude.
The job duties are as follows:
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide HR clerical and administrative support
- Compile and update employee records
- Assist with insurance issues, FMLA paperwork, etc.
- Help coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, etc.)
- Deal with employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Excellent computer skills, including prior experience with an HR technology system, such as SuccessFactors or Kronos
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills

Compensation Information:
- Automatic 60-Day Pay Review
- Automatic Annual Pay Review
- Hourly wage DOE
Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Physical (provided by Milkco).
- Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
- Must pass an E-Verify Screening.
- Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
- Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
- Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work on a computer in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Must be able to occasionally move through and around the plant as needed.
