Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Vocational, technical training or equivalent, plus two years related experience.
Associate degree in information technology and/or equivalent desirable.
Working knowledge of Windows and Google Chrome environment.
Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
Must possess excellent interpersonal
Must be self-motivated, completing tasks with minimal supervision.
Must be able to balance multiple projects and work cooperatively with others.
Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license in good status.
REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology
Objective: To service and support district hardware, software, and infrastructure. Support faculty and staff with hardware and software issues for minimal disruption in productivity.
Essential Job Function
Maintenance and repair of all digital equipment including, but not limited, computers, printers, and peripherals.
Assist in the development and implementation of district wide initiatives that require the installation of new and/or upgraded software and hardware.
Provide the necessary research and development required to address the changing needs of the district.
Maintain a working knowledge of all district support software.
Utilize proper procedures and processes for ordering repair parts and supplies as well as time and material records.
Keep current on existing and changing technologies through participation in conferences and training.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that affect all district systems.
Level one (1) support for all work orders as per documentation.
Assist in creation and distribution of computer images.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of all supported software.
Assist in the maintenance of a district technology asset management process.
Provide desktop application, digital resources, and operating system support and training to teachers, and staff.
Support teachers in their effort to integrate technology into instructional programs.
Evaluate software and online resources for classroom use throughout the district.
Assist in providing quality professional development in technology.
Provide Help Desk support as needed.
Assign and manage student devices in the appropriate management software.
Any other duties assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to sit and talk and hear.
Ability to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and move quickly when necessary to promote student learning and/or safety.

EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually by the Director of Information Technology in accordance with the Technical Support Group Meet and Discuss Agreement.
