Overview
Millennium Engineering and Integration is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME- III) in Technology and Capabilities, to support and provide expertise in the development of DoD solutions and Joint Force Design, development and application, operational constraints, concepts of operation, concepts of employment, development and execution of COCOM operational plans, threat tactics and responses, logistics approaches. Task is to address current/future force structure challenges, including technologies, system, and system of system architectures; to solve challenges and meet the needs of DoD across all domains, to provide operational capabilities to support the warfighter. This includes extending current capabilities and determining new and innovative ways and means to address challenges facing DoD in its global missions of National Defense. Task is to identify current and emerging technologies and capabilities and apply these to current and future Department of Defense (DoD) challenges.
Position is contingent upon award of contract.
Description
- Apply experience and expertise in cutting edge technologies and application of technologies to produce new and innovative warfighting capabilities. Provide in-depth technical knowledge and experience with existing and future advanced DoD weapon systems and their capabilities, concept of operations, limitations, and upgrade capacities. Areas of expertise in system capabilities, performance, and operations include:. Land, Sea, Air, Space, Cyber, and Energy systems, system of systems, and platforms; offensive, defensive, kinetic, non-kinetic, and directed energy weapons; sensors for ISR and fire control; cyberwarfare; communication networks; electromagnetic spectrum management to include EW and 5G; application of automation; command, control, and battle management; fires close air support, long range fires, targeting, air and missile defense. Experience working in Joint Staff, with the DoD Labs, and DARPA, is highly desired.
- Objective is developing solutions to complex and challenging DoD problems across all-domains. Experience applying technology and capabilities to assessing threat kill chains operations and identifying exploitable vulnerabilities, constructing and executing simulation and analysis, conducting trade studies and sensitivity analysis, interpreting and synthesizing results and translating them into concise and comprehensive data/information resulting in innovative applications of technology and capabilities address National Defense challenges.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires 20 years of Technology and Capability Experience.
- Requires a Maters Degree in Engineering or Physics.
- War College Experience, Acquisition Experience is desired.
