Millennium Hotels and Resorts, a global hospitality management and real estate group with 120 hotels in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America is looking for a help Desk Analyst to assist out IT team. The IT Help Desk Analyst is responsible for Tier 1 remote support of the Millennium Hotels IT environment. The IT Analyst also serves as a resource for onsite assistance at the Denver Corporate Office as needed.
NOTE: This is an On-site position in the Denver Tech Center area. (We do not offer remote or hybrid positions)
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receive support calls and help desk tickets from the Millennium Hotels and Corporate Offices in the US. Provide remote support to end users for computer, server, printer, software, and telecom needs. Provides hands-on support for the Corporate Office user's IT needs.
· Install and deploy new equipment as necessary to corporate office users.
· Stage and deploy new equipment for remote hotel locations as needed.
· Complete special projects as assigned or assist other team members in the completion of projects or support issues as necessary.
· Perform preventive maintenance on IT systems as necessary.
· Perform data retrieval functions when necessary.
· Escalates problems as appropriate.
· Be on call for emergency calls
REQUIREMENTS:
· Proven experience in supporting computer end users, experience with both Windows and Chrome operating systems.
· Ability to troubleshoot problems methodically and thoroughly.
· Preferred experience maintaining some or all of the following: servers, network infrastructure, firewalls and end user computer systems.
· High-touch, proactive customer service mentality.
· Ability to communicate technical issues and their resolution to non-technical staff.
· Prefer individuals with VMware experience and skills.
· Prefer individuals with experience with hospitality centric systems and applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years of experience with help desk/IT support
