What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Assistant position at Miller Auto Plaza?
Communicate with appropriate partners (including, but not limited to manager, estimator(s) and technicians at the start of each shift, to schedule the day.
Assist technicians as needed.
Map vehicles in shop, anticipating progress and communicating issues, concerns and/or delays.
Update shop management system as needed.
Offer feedback and support in regards to process improvement ideas, production and through-put.
Assist department, as needed, with managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars.
Assist with detailing vehicles, including, but not limited to wash and vacuum.
Maintain the professional appearance of the department by ensuring the cleanliness of the department, including, but not limited to, emptying garbages, sweeping, mopping, cleaning debris from the lot, etc.
Participate in meetings and training programs that are made available.
Keep current on new products and product updates.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be presentable and professional appearing at all times
Must have valid driver?s License and good driving record
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Good organizational skills and time management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent listening skills
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of relevant computer applications
Product knowledge
