The Chicago boutique litigation firm Miller Shakman Levine & Feldman LLP seeks an associate for its litigation practices, including commercial litigation, representation of law firms and lawyers, governmental disputes and civil rights, health care litigation, and complex family law litigation. The associate will be involved in all aspects of litigation in federal and state court, including client contact, discovery and motion practice, trials, and appeals.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of practice or clerking experience;
- Admission to the Illinois Bar, eligibility to waive in to the Illinois bar, or willingness to take the Illinois Bar within six months of hire;
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytic skills;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and persuasively;
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
