Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor will oversee various operational aspects of Miller Theater under the mentorship and leadership of the Operations Manager for all concerts and events. The schedule is mostly nights and weekends. The Operations Supervisor will partake in all operational aspects of concerts and events by setting up, coordinating, and following through on miscellaneous operations duties under the leadership of the Operations Manager and other event and management staff. The Operations Supervisor will act as Manager on Duty and will oversee support staff during events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Operations, Front of House, Box Office and General Managers during all phases of event management.
- Will set up and tear down tables, chairs, bars, and other items for each event.
- Will be required to perform housekeeping duties as needed.
- Assists in performing facility walkthroughs and disseminating information to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
- Assists Operations Manager in the supervision and execution of changeover duties both during and after shows.
- Acts as Manager on duty for post-show changeover and cleanup. Responsible for restoring the facility to its preshow condition.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
