What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Planner position at MilliporeSigma?

- Location: Bend, OR
- Hours: Full-time
- Pay rate: $65k - 75k / year, depending on experience.
Roles related to the logistics of raw materials, finished products and parts. Activities focus on inventory management, material handling and planning, logistics and delivery to the customers.
- Includes the development and implementation of policies and processes, and developing supply chain designs, models, and processes.
- Determines material requirements and plans, schedules and coordinates movement of materials from suppliers as well as product and material movement through production.
- Impacts the results within own discipline with own contributions.
- Provides input to the technical direction and operational decision making in the field of specialization.
- Solves complex problems based on analytical thought and complex judgement which requires in-depth knowledge and experience in own job-discipline and knowledge of related disciplines.
- Accountable for the quality of on-going activities/processes.
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
- BS degree with 8 yrs exp, MS degree with 3-5 yrs exp, or PHD
