Controller -Milne/Wyckoff

Milne/Wyckoff is in search of a Controller to provide hands-on leadership and oversight to a multi-entity accounting department. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and Finance, the Controller will work closely with the Assistant Controller and Division Managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of accounting records.

Responsibilities
• Daily maintenance of accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• Management and oversight of accounting sub department as assigned.
• Supervision of direct reports (as assigned) to ensure efficient operation of their departments and their staff.
• Assist in the preparation of budgetary and transactional accounting reports as needed by both Executive and Division management.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in financial audits.
• Completion of special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• 3 years of overall combined accounting and/or financial experience required.
• A CPA or CPA candidate is strongly preferred. 
• General knowledge of accounting processes and procedures is essential.
• Prior experience with agriculture and/or food processing operations is preferred.
