Accountant Manager I

Your Role on Our Team As an Accounting Manager on the newly formed Commercial Accounting Team, you will be the primary owner of Promotional Accounting, a high-visibility topic that dramatically impact’s The Company’s business. The main focus of this role is to develop new-to-company policies and procedures that ensure accurate financial statements. What You’ll Do: • Support and lead process improvement efforts related to Promotional and Brand Marketing processes and tools, • Develop processes to ensure accuracy of promotional activity, • Timely review and approval of monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, • Work in cross functional groups to create more efficient business processes, • Work with consultants to help them better understand our business and its needs, • Interface with all levels of management, • Interface with all levels of internal and external audit, • Ability to collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data and create meaningful reports, • Demonstrate agility by adapting to changing needs of the finance and operational departments, able to create meaningful ad hoc “what if” financial analysis, • Provide guidance and testing support to the phased Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation. The Tools You’ll Need to Have: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, • 8 years of corporate accounting experience required, • Proficiency with large scale ERP required, • Proficiency with Excel (advanced) , SQL and PowerPoint required. The Other Tools We’d Like to See: • 3 years supervisory experience preferred, • Public accounting experience or CPA is preferred.
