Cashier/Barista
POSITION OVERVIEW: As the first point of contact for guest service, the Cashier/Barista is responsible for selling, preparing and serving coffee, tea, beverages and food. Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries, cookies, and other menu/kitchen items.

You have amazing attention to detail, work well as part of a team, and work well under pressure. You have a strong desire to learn and be a leader among your peers.
What you bring to the table:
- 1-3 years' experience in a high-end coffee shop, cafe, or high volume, fine dining atmosphere
- Exceptional communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of coffee and tea service
- Experience creating latte art
- Basic math and computer skills and ability to operate a service POS
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
- Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
- At least 16 years of age
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period
