What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ukulele Instructor position at Mindful Music Center?
I am looking for a fun and experienced voice, ukulele, and/or piano instructor who can teach on Fridays, and Saturdays (other days can be added as well). Part of Mindful Music Center's mission is to teach students of all backgrounds, ages, and needs, including students with exceptionalities. We take students on the Gardiner Scholarship as well, so having a teaching certificate is required for those students. You must have 4 years experience teaching, and 10 years experience on your instrument that you will be teaching.
Teachers are able to set their own schedules/hours. The job requires traveling to students' houses upon each teacher's discretion, as well as teaching at our studio space. (Traveling to students' houses is put on hold for now due to Covid, and will resume at the comfort of each teacher). We also have the option and set up to teach virtual lessons.
The pay range varies depending on the length and location of the lesson. (i.e. 30-minute lessons in the studio, 30-minute lessons in a student's house).
