Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role (Mondays - Fridays 9am-5pm) for a TMS Therapist at Mindful TMS Neurocare Centers at our location in the heart of downtown Chicago! The TMS Therapist will be responsible for administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments, providing personalized care to patients with depression, OCD, anxiety, addiction remission, PTSD, and other psychiatric and neurological conditions. The role involves working closely with patients to provide a therapeutic environment, monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, as well as working as part of a small, but supportive team. This role also involves administrative tasks such as attending weekly Microsoft Teams meetings, following up with leads, scheduling appointments, processing co-pays, assisting with insurance prior authorizations, and handling medical records in compliance with HIPAA. Occasional travel to another clinic location in the Greater Chicagoland area may be required on occasions when doing so is required to ensure clinic coverage, in which case mileage is reimbursed. As part of our mission to ensure the highest quality care, initial training will require travel to other clinic locations to allow for training and certification on each type of treatment device.
Qualifications
- Interest in mental healthcare, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy, psychology, neuroscience, or similar fields
- Experience working in a clinical environment; ideally in mental healthcare and/or academic background in psychology, counseling, healthcare, neuroscience, or related field
- Empathy and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team as well as independently
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, workflow tools such as Trello, and EHR systems
Salary : $20 - $24
