MineralTree’s headquarters is located in Boston, MA with an office in Bengaluru, India. Our Proxy Pay Associate can be based remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

We are searching for a Proxy Payment Associate who will be responsible for processing high volumes of virtual credit card payments on behalf of our clients. The MineralTree Proxy Pay service is a value-added offering for our customers and partners that allows buyers to pay vendors that only accept virtual cards via phone or internet/portal submission. Our proxy pay service allows our customers to realize the cost-saving benefits from utilizing virtual cards without the buyer or vendor needing to assume any responsibility for processing the payments. Reporting to the Manager of Payment Operations, this important role is a great entry point into a fast-growing company in the hot fintech market.

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of virtual card payments through multiple channels including online and via phone on the buyers’ behalf
• Maintain above-average service level agreements and high quality-performance ratings
• Maintain a high-level of integrity, securely manage confidential information, and execute payments with an impeccable attention to detail
• Communicate with suppliers regarding payments, handling any questions or inquiries they may have
• Interact with various internal stakeholders, including senior-level leadership
• Build strong rapport and maintain ongoing external and internal relationships
• Investigate and record root causes of payment issues
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership by escalating issues in a timely manner

• Experience with SaleForce and ZenDesk a plus
