JOB DESCRIPTION

Mingo Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a strong Quality control specialist to join our team in
Owasso, OK. This individual will be responsible for conformance inspection activities and be the designated Quality Department focal supporting the new manufactured products.

• Read written instructions or procedures accurately.
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw and drill gun.
• Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Skilled with computers to create reports.
• Must work well with others.
• Performance of visual inspection, including configuration, workmanship, dimensions, welds, coatings, material, and process certifications, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea

• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
• Must be detail oriented; be able to work independently using sound judgement.
• Good verbal, written, problem solving, and organization skills required.

Physical demands and abilities

• Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
