The Labor Relations Manager manages the development and administration of a comprehensive labor relations program. Major activities include negotiation of MAC’s thirteen collective bargaining agreements; chief spokesperson duties in bargaining; contract administration; grievance mediation and arbitration; contract mediation and interest arbitration; BMS hearings and Veterans Preference hearings; labor/management cooperation; human resources planning and compensation; employee training; project labor agreement negotiations; and prevailing wage enforcement. This position is responsible for advising MAC on all other external employee relations issues affecting the organization. Works with executive staff, management and supervisory staff, representatives of employee organizations and government agencies as well as consultants employed to perform specific tasks.
