The Human Resources Generalist is primarily responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management.

Essential Job Functions
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development of personnel policies and procedures
- Manages lower-level employee relations counseling, monitors disciplinary procedures, oversees terminations, and exit interviewing
- Manages new-employee onboarding and orientation, and continuously updates necessary documentation
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
- Completes other duties as assigned
Non-essential Job Functions
- Assists with other department administrative duties as needed
- Participates in company social media and advertising efforts
- Participates in recruiting and marketing events
- Participates in company outings and team-building events
Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements
- 4 year bachelor degree preferred
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed
Working Environment and Physical Demands
The working environment for this position is mainly the standard office setting and occasionally events of various settings require heavy lifting of event equipment, tools, and supplies including tables, chairs, boxes of materials, tent, tablet stands, and wheel of fortune game. Use of a computer and other typical office equipment is required as well.
