What are the responsibilities and job description for the Picker / Packer position at Minutemen?
Now hiring a Picker/Packer for a manufacturing company in Wadsworth for 1st shift, 6am – 2:30pm.
Monday – Friday with optional overtime.
Weekly pay at $15 per hour.
The Picker/Packer is responsible for reading printed orders, pulling items for each order, and placing them in the proper totes.
Job Duties:
- Review printed orders to determine the items to be picked and packed for each order.
- Locate and retrieve items from designated locations using hand-held scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of selected items against order specifications.
- Inspect orders and products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Label packages with correct shipping information.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize orders and meet daily goals.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
The ideal candidate has a great attention to detail who is organized with high energy.
This position involves walking up to 8 miles per day.
