Collections Specialist
Job Posting for Collections Specialist at Misa Imports, Inc.
Summary:
We are looking for a goal oriented, energetic Collections Specialist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivables from the existing customer base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor assigned accounts to identify unresolved invoices
- Follow-up with clients on overdue accounts
- Follow-up with clients on getting remittance advice
- Apply payments to correct accounts
- Research and implement effective collection techniques
- Respond to client account queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Other responsibilities assigned by management
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma
- 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience
- Understanding of billing and collection processes
- Advanced MS Office (Excel) experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- NetSuite experience is preferred
