Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Hotel Operations Manager. This full time/year-round position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, benefits, and numerous other perks. The ideal applicant will have four or more years of experience in Hotel Guest Service leadership at a hotel/resort property with more than a hundred rooms, possess an upbeat leadership style, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
Position Summary
As the Retail Manager, you will fill a key leadership role with an industry-recognized leader in hospitality management services. The Retail Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the Retail Department. This includes planning, buying, budgeting, scheduling, hiring, training, inventory, store set up, restocking, attending appropriate merchandise markets, securing local vendors, managing staff.

Required Skills And Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a managerial/supervisory role in the Retail Industry
- Creativity in layout of the stores, fashion & trend knowledge
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and work with other teams in the hotel
- Working knowledge of POS processes and procedures
- Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island
Salary : $44,700 - $56,500
