THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2022 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER)
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Public Areas Attendant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of housekeeping experience, possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Public Areas Attendant is to execute tasks that ensure the highest standards for cleanliness, safety and sanitation are maintained throughout the resort. This individual will perform a variety of activities to ensure a consistently clean, orderly and attractive environment within all public spaces. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of experience in Housekeeping or related experience preferred
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Working knowledge of Housekeeping processes and procedures
- Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
