Pay Range: $19 - $25 an hour DOE
Status: Full Time -Part time Seasonal

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and inspirational individual to collaborate with the Ski School Director in managing ski school programs and actively contributing to the development of our ski school culture. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and support a team of approximately 140 instructors and sales staff. You’ll be focused on proactively helping others, demonstrating optimism in action, and seeking solutions. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to achieving results and eager to gain comprehensive management experience to advance in the ski industry.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:
-
Support Mission Ridge with offsite recruiting events
-
Oversee the sales staff, including their weekly and daily activities, and manage their scheduling.

Assist Ski School Director in Multi-Week program organization and guest service
-
Support the administration of School lesson programs.

Labor allocation oversight
-
Payroll maintenance
-
Oversight of ski school/customer service communication

Accident reporting and follow-up

Staffing oversight and input
-
Assist in staff onboarding procedures

Assist in keeping track of labor and revenue as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
-
Proven experience in ski and snowboard instruction, preferably in a leadership role.

Background in program development and implementation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and lead a team of instructors.

Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for superlative guest experience.

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Actively pursuing personal professional development.
Preferred skills and educational background:
-
Associates or Bachelor's degree
-
PSIA/AASI accreditation, L1 (actively pursuing L2 and a path toward full certification), and above.

Children’s specialist (CS) 1
-
5 years ski school teaching experience.

Management experience in any industry.
Physical demands and working conditions:
-
This position will require working weekends and holidays while in operation.

Capability to lift and carry equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a daily basis.

Auditory and visual acuity to communicate with computers, phones, and mobile devices and basic office equipment.

Capability to work in outdoor environments for extended periods, often in cold and variable weather conditions.
