Vocational-level Custodian accountable for cleaning office areas or resident areas. Works under general direction and follows set instructions and directions.
Works as part of a cleaning crew. Operates a variety of power cleaning equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
- Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures.
- Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
- Performing minor repairs.
- Keeping buildings free from indoor pests.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours.
- Collaborating with contract cleaning services.
- Tidy and prepare spaces
Requirements and Experience :
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with handling basic maintenance repairs.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- 0-2 years experience
- Excellent time management
- Good focus and attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning agents and how to use and dispose of them safely
