Missouri Tile is a wholesale distributor of tile, vinyl, and all things flooring located in Springfield, MO. We do things different; we buy different, service our customers different, and sell different compared to anyone else in our area. We’re out to change the world of flooring, one floor at a time. We are currently seeking a Contractor Sales Specialist to add to our growing team.
The Contractor Sales Specialist is responsible for creating and fostering relationships with contractors specifically, preparing quotes, placing orders, and overall customer service. Our goal is to provide everyone with unreasonably good service and do things differently than those in our industry.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively call, onboard, and develop relationships with Contractors in our area.
- Meet planned sales/behavior goals.
- Promote Missouri Tile’s products and services, demonstrating their value for various construction projects and customer types.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position Missouri Tile’s offerings.
- Develop a daily, weekly and monthly schedule to call and communicate with your assigned customer accounts.
The ideal candidate will:
- Prefer prior experience within the construction industry, bonus points for flooring experience.
- Be highly motivated and target driven.
- Possess excellent prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Be open to feedback, committed to continual growth.
- Be technically-minded and a problem solver.
- Understand what it takes to deliver on a promise of unreasonably good service.
- Possess basic PC skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
