DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES, MIT Medical, to provide strategic leadership, management, and administration of human resource (HR) activities for MIT Medical. Will facilitate cultural and operational change in MIT Medical to support and move towards its strategic direction; serve as a member of the senior leadership team providing direction for strategic planning, policies, daily operations, and fiscal management of MIT Medical; provide direction, guidance, and support to senior leadership team on all matters related to organizational development and personnel; and define and implement strategies for ensuring that MIT Medical is a desirable place to work and provides staff enrichment at all levels. Responsibilities include providing consulting, advising, and administration in the following key areas: employee learning, negotiation, development and motivation; employee/labor relations; sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates; compensation classification; organizational development; training; performance management and professional development; policy interpretation and compliance with the Joint Commission (JC) HR standards. Will also provide support, direction, coaching, and training to administrative and clinical managers in department on HR issues and people management.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least ten years of HR generalist experience; strategic and proactive approach to problem-solving; employee development, coaching, motivation, and facilitation skills; strong working knowledge of good HR practices; excellent organizational, leadership, collaboration, customer service, interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills; and ability to work across all levels of an organization to develop and maintain positive relationships and assure fairness and consistency.
