Position Objective:

This position is responsible for daily delivery to customer locations and warehouse support for the assigned branch located in Tucson, AZ. The position will report to the assigned Branch Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Safely meet delivery schedules on designated routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery log.
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
• Understand driving regulations of location.
• Perform basic inquiries into ERP system
• Complete daily forklift maintenance checklist and ensure all scheduled maintenance activities are completed on time. Ensure propane tanks are serviced/filled regularly
• Load and unload product from delivery trucks.
• Maintain fleet vehicles according to maintenance schedules including oil changes, cleaning, and general up keep of vehicles.
• Assist with warehouse duties at direction of warehouse employees. Assisting in Cycle counts, shelving product and branch cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Experience and Abilities Required:

• Ability to move product weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to operate in an organized.
• Delivery experience driving 16-20' vehicle
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate a forklift. Training and certification available.

Education Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience driving a flatbed truck preferred.
• Warehouse experience a plus
