Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, ensuring they are delivered smoothly and successfully. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a creative approach to problem-solving
Support Needed Includes
• Monitoring event inboxes
• Responding to and following up on attendee inquiries
• Monitoring registrations and verifying against the attendee lists
• Reporting on registrations
• Monitoring hotel registrations and checking against the room blocks
• Communicating any special needs to the hotel(s)
• Day of meeting support will vary but will include face to face interaction with meeting attendees
• Problem solving issues as they arise
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors, clients, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite & CVENT
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
