Summary Job Responsibilities & Requirements Understands current industry standards, expectations and OSHA/Best Practices and with Safety manager keeps company on leading edge of safety and compliance. Performs site safety inspections/audits to assess safety and health risks associated project. Identifies conditions or actions that may cause injury, illness or property damage, and works with project sites to assure compliance and corrective actions have been implemented. Assists on-site projects with the development, implementation, communication and execution of site specific safety program. To include JHA, Pre-task, new hire orientation and safety meetings. Reviews, prepares, and conducts analysis of leading and lagging indicators to drive safety improvement on Site, coordinates with Safety Manager as part of overall safety program. Helps develop and provide training in accordance with overall safety program. Provides up-to-date guidance from OSHA as well as relays GCI and Client Safety Policy. Reviews Incident reports and makes recommendations for future operations. Responds to safety inquires and RFIs, and acts as resource for onsite personnel. Responsible for all aspects of safety to include PPE requirements, OSHA shop requirements, safety committee meetings, walk through and minutes Understands our Illness and Injury Prevention Program and helps administer. Acts as onsite educator for identified safety issues and ensures corrections Excellent communication skills. Keeps Current with all OSHA standards and industry best practices. Requirements: Completed minimum of 60 hours in business curriculum with focus in Supply Chain Excel skills, including basic, formula and data manipulation MiTek is an E-Verify and Drug and Tobacco-Free Workplace.
