MITY Inc. is an award-winning global manufacturer of professionally designed highly durable furniture products. Trusted worldwide, MityLite products are found primarily in banquet, meeting, and event venues in the hospitality, education, government, and worship markets.
Our operations department is looking to add a Quality Manager to develope our quality systems and apply best practices. We need a process and people focused leader with a lean background to meet our expanding needs as a world leader in our industry.
The purpose of the Quality Manager is to develop, implement, and periodically evaluate the quality program to ensure the organizations production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by MityLite and its customers.
What We Expect:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards across all MITY, Inc. companies.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control activities, including product inspections, testing, documentation, customer & supplier visits and customer repairs.
- Establish and manage a system consistent with regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain quality management systems.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Manufacturing or Business) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in conducting quality inspections and implementing QA/QC processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
- ISO9001 experience helpful but not required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
