Patient Registration: Registration SupervisorFull-Time Salary Position
9am-5:30pm
Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates Degree in Business desired. Five (5) years experience in medical registration and/or business office required. Three (3) years previous medical supervisory experience preferred.
Skills: Good interpersonal skills will be required including customer relations, grammar and reading and organizational. The ability to make decisions under pressure, manage multiple priorities and stress, and anger and potential violence of others appropriately. Computer skills are required.
Duties Include: Responsible for developing and implementing registration standards and for coordinating and directing the daily activities of the hospitals registration functions, which include but are not limited to registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and up-front patient cash collections. The supervisory responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Review and educate admission staff of errors or new policies, maintain CQI process, ensure adequate staffing of employees, and any other managerial related duties. Maintains open communication with co-workers and hospital staff. Participate in and lead performance improvement initiatives through consultation with Director and/or Senior Leadership. Any other duties as assigned by manager.
