Strategic Buyer

MK Recruit is excited to be working on behalf of our global manufacturing client based in Delaware, US.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Buyer to join them through a growth phase within their purchasing department.

The successful candidate must come from any kind of manufacturing environment such as FMCG, Pharma, Chemical, Ink, or Components.

The Successful Candidate

• The role calls for a strong negotiator. Someone who has excellent vendor management and cost saving experience.
• Degree qualified or equivalent job experience
• Skilled in using SAP (ideally 3 years experience)
• Strategic sourcing experience with direct and indirect materials procurement
• Professional supply chain qualification such as CPSM or CSCP (preferred)
• Experienced managing a multi million $ spend

The Role

• Development of purchasing strategies to align with company needs
• Sourcing of direct and indirect material for a manufacturing facility
• Supplier management and selection
• Support with new product introduction

Salary: $56,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
