Factory General Manager

Job Duties: The company is seeking a full-time Factory General Manager/Expeditor to oversee all production, facilities and employees of the factory.

• Responsible for scheduling work for all orders on a daily basis and communicating with office customer support regarding ship dates, customer requests, etc.

• Production scheduling and scheduling secondary operations

• Overseeing 6 factory team members

• Oversee Silversmith Bench

• Responsible for quality of workmanship from all factory employee’s

• development of a QA process

• General maintenance of equipment and all tooling

• Notifying owner of any defaults in equipment

• Development of time studies and production sheets for all departments as requested

• Introduce new production methods to increase proficiency

• Keep inventory of raw materials

• Must help out with soldering, lathe work,and any secondary operations

• Opening and closing facility

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Factory or Production Manager

• Experience with manual lathes, drill presses, blanking machines, surface grinders, and bridgeports

• No CNC

• Experience managing multiple employees and projects
