Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to join our team. The Assistant Buyer will support the purchasing process and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery time-scales
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels
- Support the buying team in selecting products and making purchase decisions
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Stay updated on market trends and new products

Experience:

- Previous experience in a buying or procurement role is preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control, supply chain management, and e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and negotiation techniques
- Proficiency in using purchasing systems and software
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
