Position Reports To:
Corporate Controller
Purpose of Position:
Contribute to the day-to-day accounting operations of the manufacturing business
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations for subsidiary
Ensure that accounting records are prepared and designed effectively in accordance with USGAAP
Complete analytical reviews of monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results to ensure accurate corporate financial reporting
Support internal control design and performance of controls on-site
Liaison for integrating operational accounting into shared service model
Lead efforts to increase in-house inventory accuracy and control by partnering with Operational and Sales Managers
Accounting Business Partner to Operational Business Unit Leadership at the corporate level
Support the division in future system implementation projects
Support the preparation of deliverables for audit and tax engagements.
Experience related to SOX/Internal audit controls as related to a corporate publically traded company.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 7 or more years in progressive accounting responsibilities
CPA or Advanced Degree preferred
Public audit experience preferred
Expert in US GAAP
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
Willingness to learn, positive attitude and teamwork
Work experience using MS office tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
