Executive Assistant / Problem solver

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive problem solver to support our executive team and project managers throughout the construction process of new homes.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, fanatic about following up on many concurrent tasks, and thrive solving complex problems in a sometimes stressful environement with tight deadlines.

Location

95% of the work will be done remotely from home, but occasionally, the candidate will have to visit construction projects in the immediate area to deliver or collect items or assist the project manager onsite, sometimes on short notice. Hence the candidate should live in Moapa Valley, Nevada.

Duties

• Bid construction projects at various stages of the project. This requires an extreme level of following up.
• Build working relationships with subcontractors.
• Occasionally find new subcontractors to negotiate or lower costs
• Assist with marketing and ordering signage
• Source products at best prices, and manage logistics of delivery to the jobsite
• Handle submissions of documents to homeowners associations
• Establish accounts for utility connections of new projects
• Schedule warranty requests and ensure completion
• Work through todo list items without leave any task behind

Required qualifications

- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, Procurement specialist or similar professional role

- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive) as well as Excel and Word

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively across a large number of concurrent tasks

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Able to relate to others and long lasting relationships

Optional qualifications

- Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus

- Spanish language skills are a plus

- Experience with photography is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
