What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Analytics PDC Operations position at Mobis Parts America, LLC?
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Review and analyze PDC improvement initiatives and utilize statistical reporting methods to report trends /progress.
Prepare Executive Summary reporting based on analysis of data for capital projects and major initiatives. These include
existing building improvement projects, new building layout, design, equipment purchases and installation, part
movement and transfer as well as project management scheduling. (30%)
• Provide parts management support in terms of sizing, slotting, PDC layou ts, re-warehousing, space utilization, parts
measurement data base and maintaining the Warehouse Optimization system (WOS). This includes assisting in the
layout, designs, profiles and documentation of all procedures. (20%)
• Daily supervision of HQ PDC Operations staff activities including wo rk scheduling, time card reporting, vacation
scheduling, holiday work schedules and coverage and reviews. (15%)
• Analyze current PDC network and provide internal improvement oppo rtunities, i.e., recommendations and analysis /
trends. Utilize forecasting models to plan Parts Distribution Center requirements for locations, tools, supplies, space,
labor and equipment. (20%)
• Develop department and P DC operating procedures for daily, monthly and annual process, i.e., reporting, budget,
equipment ordering. These procedures will be required for the Advanced Mobis Operating System (AMOS) and the
Warehouse Optimization System (WOS). (15%)
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Track, maintain, and analyze PDC Operational improvement initiatives to insure cost/benefit to MPA.
• Assist National and PDC Management with projects associated with PDC Operational initiatives as outlined by National Management.
• Ensures prom pt distribution of analysis and reports to divisional management to correct/augment
deficiencies/trends/issues regarding PDC Operational improvements.
• Utilizes Statistical Process Control tools to identify shifts in activity a t National, Regional, District and Dealer level.
• Continually review and revise as necessary PDC Scorecard Audit components and monthly/quarterly reporting to
leadership and PDCs.
• Maintain and study PD C equipment fleet base to include hours utilized and maintenance cost and recommends
replacement based on ROI cost models.
• Maintain MPA PDC sales and lines proc essed data necessary to project and plan optimal location, size and layout of
future facilities necessary to support Hyundai and Kia growth.
• Analyze PDC parts slotting programs and recommends via s tatistical / graphic representations proper slotting based on
demand (frequency and sales).
WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Minimal overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.

• While written policies and procedures exist for some of the functions associated with this position, the individual must be
able to operate independently within those policies and procedures, require minimum supervision and be internally
motivated.
