MOD BIKES is an Electric Bicycle brand that offers premium, powerful and versatile electric bikes for the everyday rider. We design our brand of electric bicycles in-house, which are sold and distributed nationwide through our online store and Austin showroom.
We are looking for a fun, passionate, dedicated leader. As the Service Manager, you will build the infrastructure for this department. This includes everything from developing policies and procedures, writing SOP's and workflows, and much more. You will be creating an efficient and organized department that will allow the company to scale and your team of mechanics to grow.
Duties
Manage, train, lead a team of mechanics.- Creating workflows, SOP's and safety training tools.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the day-day operations of running Our service department.
- Manage and maintain inventory.
- Working with our POS, updating tickets, and managing priorities.
- Creating and improving workflows and procedures.
- Maintaining bikes according to ticket requirements.
- Communicating with customers.
- Conduct inspections and ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
- Pack and ship orders ensuring all of our standards are met and the product will arrive at the consumer safely.
- Be ready to troubleshoot and handle customers' needs post-purchase.
- Other bike tech duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience as a bicycle mechanic / Sales / Service - 3 years minimum.
- Experience in a management position - 3 years minimum.
- Consummate customer service skills and sharp acuity for dealing with customers face-to-face.
- Basic knowledge of electric systems, motors, and eBikes - Advantage.
- Outstanding written and communication skills.
- Tech Savvy
- Ability to exhibit extreme patience when the situation requires it.
- Ability to self-manage daily schedule and ensure all tasks are completed as assigned.
- Passionate about eBikes & bikes.
